This project works to integrate morphology, structure, PV power, solar-thermal energy, enclosure elements, daylighting systems into one cohesive assembly complex. The site and cardinal orientation of the south facade work to create a stunning experience to people both inside and looking in. The simple program layout works to reinforce this, by allowing the powerful facade and internal daylighting systems to let natural light in from all directions; during all times of the day. As brutalist as concrete may be, this assembly building utilizes that as its primary material to have a powerful effect on those traversing the building and
those working inside. The enclosure elements provide a sleek look to the exterior while insulating the building nicely. The primary form on the south facade is the most cohesive element, as it works to have a profound shading effect on the interior spaces as
well as work to harness energy from the sun.
